Conform

Conformity is the act of consciously maintaining a certain degree of similarity (in clothing, manners, behaviours, etc.) to those in your general social circles, to those in authority, or to the general status quo. Usually, conformity implies a tendency to submit to others in thought and behavior other than simply clothing choice. It can also refer to:

• Conformity, a magazine about electrical engineering
• Conformity, the closeness of an individual dog to its breed\'s American Kennel Club standard
• Conformity, a novel by Irish author Charlotte Elizabeth Tonna
• Conformity (psychology)
• Certificate of conformity, regarding a type approval.
